A gentle breeze blew and favorable weather helped open the Indonesian Footgolf Open 2025. The event, held on September 17, 2025, started at 07:00 WIB. The Indonesian Footgolf Open 2025, located at the Palm Hill Golf field in Sentul, Bogor, was attended by dozens of public figures.
A number of public figures enlivened the event. Not only players accustomed to soccer or futsal, but golf players were also enthusiastic about participating in the tournament.
Indonesian Footgolf Open 2025 became the first Footgolf tournament initiated by Palm Hill Golf Club. The event, scheduled since August, attracted much attention. Some public figures wanting to join even had to waitlist and failed to participate due to limited quotas.

A Number of Public Figures Enliven the Event
The event, running from morning to evening, was attended by various figures. From content creator Keanu Agl to film actress Anya Geraldine. Others included public figures like Darma Mangkuluhur Hutomo, Panji Trihatmodjo, Amrit Punjabi, Oki Rengga, and other celebrities.
They enthusiastically participated in Footgolf. The blazing sun didn't dampen their spirit. Former professional footballer Oki Rengga expressed great joy in joining the tournament.
He had tried Footgolf several times at Palm Hill Golf Club before. When hearing about the tournament, he eagerly signed up.
“This sport has existed abroad for a long time, but Palm Hill is its first introduction in Indonesia. Since it's available here, I immediately agreed to try,” he explained.
For Oki, Footgolf is enjoyable—combining golf's concentration with soccer's accuracy into one sport.
“It was fun playing with friends like Syamsir Alam (ex-pro player), Vicky Nitinegoro, and Bayu (ex-futsal player). We were very happy gathering for Footgolf,” he added.
Hopes for Indonesian Footgolf
Oki hopes for more Footgolf clubs in Indonesia, believing it can become widely enjoyed. He'd gladly join future tournaments.
“I want to compete in Footgolf tournaments. If none exist in Indonesia, I might seek them abroad,” he concluded.
As a debut event, Indonesian Footgolf Open 2025 was quite successful. It closed festively with door prizes worth tens of millions.
