Barcelona Comeback, Kounde Becomes the Hero

The Barcelona vs Eintracht Frankfurt Champions League clash took place at Camp Nou on Wednesday, December 10, early morning WIB. Jules Kounde became Barca's match-winner.

Frankfurt started promisingly. Ansgar Knauff put the visitors ahead, but Barca came back thanks to a brace from Kounde, closing the match with a 2-1 final score.

This victory propelled Barcelona to 14th place in the Champions League standings with 10 points from six matches. Frankfurt is on the brink of elimination, languishing in 30th place with four points.

Barcelona pressed from the opening minutes. Robert Lewandowski rattled the Frankfurt net, but the goal was disallowed by VAR due to an offside position.

Frankfurt stole the opening goal in the 21st minute through Ansgar Knauff, capitalizing on a pass from Mario Goetze after Gerard Martin failed to intercept the ball. 

Knauff tricked Alejandro Balde before firing hard into the bottom corner. Frankfurt led 1-0.

Barcelona nearly conceded again before halftime. Fortunately, Ellyes Skhiri's shot still flew over.

Entering the second half, Frankfurt's pressure continued with a fierce strike from Fares Chaibi, but Joan Garcia was alert to secure it.

Barca finally equalized when Jules Kounde scored in the 50th minute. The score became 1-1. 

Three minutes later, Camp Nou erupted again. Kounde scored his second goal with a header, connecting with Lamine Yamal's cross from the right flank. Barcelona turned the game around to lead 2-1, a scoreline that lasted until the final whistle.

Bayern Thump Sporting, Edge Closer to Knockout Stage

Bayern Munich returned to winning ways in the Champions League after coming from behind to defeat Sporting CP 3-1.

The Bayern vs Sporting CP match was held at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, early morning WIB. Die Roten entered the game under pressure following their defeat to Arsenal on the previous matchday.

After 50 goalless minutes, Sporting stunned the Allianz Arena crowd with a Joshua Kimmich own goal. However, Bayern responded with three consecutive goals from Serge Gnabry, Lennart Karl, and Jonathan Tah.

The additional three points put Bayern comfortably in second place in the standings. Meanwhile, Sporting CP sits in ninth place with 10 points.

Bayern created an early chance through Harry Kane, but his shot sailed over. 
Despite gaining control of the rhythm, Bayern struggled to break down Sporting's tight defense. Rui Silva made several crucial saves.

Sporting threatened via a Luis Suarez cross that nearly resulted in a Jonathan Tah own goal, but Manuel Neuer saved it. The score remained 0-0 until halftime.

Sporting took the lead in the 54th minute through a Kimmich own goal after he failed to properly anticipate a cross from the left. Bayern trailed 0-1.

Bayern didn't take long to respond. Eleven minutes later, Serge Gnabry equalized at 1-1 after connecting with a Michael Olise corner.

Die Roten turned the game around in the 69th minute. Sporting lost possession in their own half, Olise passed to Konrad Laimer who then set up Lennart Karl. Bayern led 2-1.

Bayern sealed the victory in the 77th minute with a low drive from Jonathan Tah. The 3-1 scoreline held until the final whistle.
