Amidst the rhythm of urban life, short escapes are becoming the fresh breath many seek. Data from the Ministry of Tourism in August 2025 shows domestic tourists average only 1.67 nights in star-rated hotels.

A two-day, one-night getaway suffices for many families and workers wanting to recharge without taking extended leave.

On Banten's western coast, Tanjung Lesung stands ready to welcome this wave of brief tourism.

This certified Special Economic Zone offers a unique blend of serene white-sand beaches, outdoor activities, and family facilities, located just three to four hours from Jakarta.

"Specifically for this Christmas and New Year holiday, we're offering special room packages that include not only accommodation with breakfast and dinner, but also diverse entertainment and exciting activities," stated Tanjung Lesung's CEO Poernomo Siswoprasetijo on Friday, December 5, 2025.

Tourists can maximize a weekend with various water activities. Banana boats, slider boats, sea kayaking, snorkeling, and glass-bottom boats allow visitors to enjoy the blue Sunda Strait from unique perspectives.

Additionally, guests enjoy complimentary access to swimming pools, beachfront restaurants, open relaxation areas, and tropical coastal-themed bars.

For Christmas, management launched the "Celebrate Christmas by the Beach" package, combining family moments with sunset beach panoramas.

New Year's will feature the "The Battle of Ladas" cultural event series, showcasing local traditions.

The Battle of Ladas Cultural Show, rampak bedug drum performances, fire dances, fireworks displays, and live music ensure a spectacular yet culturally rooted New Year's transition.

Guests also receive free access to iconic facilities like the golf center, Mongolian Culture Center, and beaches including Pantai Ladda, Pantai Lalassa, and Pantai Bodur.

"Tanjung Lesung tourism area offers diverse accommodations from container units, cottages, to villas with private pools, tailored to travelers' needs," he concluded.(Antara)
