None of Indonesia's five representatives hold seeded status in the season-ending BWF World Tour Finals 2025 at Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium, China, December 17-21, 2025.
According to the official BWF website on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, Indonesia has representatives spread across men's singles through Jonatan Christie and women's singles Putri Kusuma Wardani.
Additionally from men's doubles, there are two pairs: Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani and Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, plus mixed doubles pair Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu.

Heavy Challenges Await at BWF World Tour Finals 2025
The season finale always delivers high tension, but the Hangzhou event will prove extra challenging for Indonesia's squad.
Having no seeded representatives automatically places them on difficult paths from the group stage.
For Indonesian fans, this scenario sounds tense. But history proves seeding isn't everything.
Viktor Axelsen won the 2023 men's singles title despite ranking fifth in Race to Finals, while top seed Kodai Naraoka exited in the group stage.
A similar situation could unfold for Indonesia's in-form players. Jonatan Christie is in golden form with three titles from his last five tournaments - including final victories over Anders Antonsen and Shi Yu Qi. His chances improved further with Shi potentially absent due to injury.
Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri also arrive with exceptional momentum. Despite competing in just eight tournaments since their July debut, they've reached five finals and claimed one title in China.
Participant changes remain possible. Fifth-ranked Putri KW and Sabar/Reza could become seeds if higher-ranked players withdraw.
The group draw occurs in Shanghai on December 13, four days before matches commence at Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium.
Indonesia has only won the World Tour Finals once (2019) through Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan, who defeated Hiroyuki Endo/Yuta Watanabe 24-22, 21-19.
Since then, the Red-and-White flag hasn't flown atop the season-ending tournament again.(Antara)
