Persib Bandung returns to the competitive atmosphere with high confidence. After two weeks without a match, the team coached by Bojan Hodak welcomes the upcoming match against Dewa United at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium on Friday, November 21, in much fresher physical and mental condition.
Key midfielder Thom Haye confirmed Persib is in an ideal situation to return to the Super League.
"I think it's good. We just went through a tight schedule. So it's positive that after getting good results, everyone gets rest time," Haye said as quoted by the club's official website on Wednesday.

Revitalizing Break for Persib's Energy
Amid a packed competition rhythm, Persib previously went through a series of high-intensity matches – not only in the Super League but also in ACL II. Therefore, Haye considers the two-week break crucial for energy recovery.
"Everyone could recharge and return with good spirit. Now we also have enough preparation time," added the Dutch-blooded player.
As a midfielder playing a vital role in Maung Bandung's transition game, Haye fully understands the importance of recovery.
"Now I feel great and relaxed, with plenty of time to face the next match. I'm ready for it," he emphasized.
Positive Trend as Persib's Main Capital
Persib enters this duel with confidence. In their last six matches across competitions, Maung Bandung recorded victories against Bangkok United, Selangor FC (ACL II), PSBS Biak, Persis Solo, and Bali United (Super League).
This series of results not only improved their league position but also built crucial momentum for facing top-table competition.
Mission to Maintain Top-Table Competition
The match against Dewa United isn't just a routine fixture. It's a key test to maintain pressure on the top-tier occupants.
Persib currently ranks fourth with 19 points from nine matches, trailing leaders Borneo FC by 11 points. A victory would narrow the gap and keep Persib's title hopes alive.
