AFA Credits Infantino Era For Improved FIFA Transparency
According to the AFA, Gianni Infantino's leadership has prioritised inclusive global football development while strengthening organisational governance through clearer, more stable and transparent operational systems.
The Argentine federation stated that this transformation has opened up wider, constructive channels of dialogue between FIFA, the continental confederations, and all member associations. This approach is noted to have rebuilt greater trust across the international football community.
Additionally, the AFA highlighted that all reforms implemented under FIFA have consistently upheld respect for the organisation's official statutes, as well as proper democratic mechanisms for every decision-making process.

In its statement, the AFA also gave a positive reception to FIFA's final decision to scrap the World Cup equity sale project. The body described this move as the correct choice, noting that the original proposal had created widespread uncertainty across the football world.
The Argentine Football Association also commended FIFA for publicly acknowledging errors in the handling of the proposal, and for issuing an official apology to all 211 member associations.
"Upholding proper governance standards is a fundamental pillar for strengthening healthy working relations between FIFA, member associations and the confederations," the statement continued.
Endorsement For Continued Gianni Infantino Leadership
The AFA concluded that Gianni Infantino has successfully delivered fundamental reforms to FIFA's governance, building an organisation that is far more open to all member associations and confederations through direct, transparent two-way communication.
According to the federation, this established foundation provides a critical base to continue developing a more inclusive global football ecosystem in the coming years.
"For this reason, ahead of the upcoming FIFA Congress, the association which I have the honour to lead firmly believes and reaffirms that the best path forward is to continue working under your leadership, to realise a better, ever more inclusive game of football," the official statement concluded.
This endorsement from the AFA adds to the growing list of national federations that have publicly backed Gianni Infantino's leadership ahead of the FIFA Congress, amid ongoing public debate over the policy direction of football's global governing body.
