Full backs must also commit to overlapping runs more actively, to force the opposition defence to stretch and open up space for attacking midfielders.

Alongside attacking creativity, Indonesia must also fix their defensive transitions after losing possession.
The match against Vietnam showed players repeatedly failed to apply immediate first pressure, leaving opponents completely free to launch counter attacks.
If this flaw remains unaddressed, Singapore will have every opportunity to exploit the open space left behind.
For this reason, the balance between attacking commitment and defensive discipline will be the factor that determines the match outcome.
Garuda's Character Under Test
Amidst all this pressure, senior midfielder Marc Klok has called on every player to maintain faith in their own abilities.
