Persib Bandung is targeting a victory when hosting Dewa United in the 13th week of BRI Super League at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium, Friday, November 21, 2025 at 7:00 PM WIB. Maung Bandung aims for full points to maintain their winning momentum and continue competing at the top of the table.

Persib Bandung defender Julio Cesar emphasized the team is ready to perform aggressively to continue their impressive performance.

“Persib Bandung wants to extend the winning streak which has now reached six matches,” said Julio, quoted from the club's official website, Saturday, November 15, 2025.

Learning from ACL II, Julio Asks Persib to Be More Focused Since Kick-Off

Julio mentioned that the match against Selangor FC in the AFC Champions League (ACL) II served as crucial evaluation material for facing Dewa United.

“We were a bit careless at the start and conceded. But after that, we dominated the game, controlled the ball, and created many chances,” emphasized Julio.

That lesson made Persib's defense more alert, especially when facing Dewa United's quick attacks known for their explosiveness in the final third.

Six Matches, Six Wins

Maung Bandung is currently on a positive trend, having secured six consecutive victories across competitions.

Persib's defeated opponents include Bangkok United and Selangor FC (twice) in ACL II, plus PSBS Biak, Persis Solo, and Bali United in the Super League.

A win against Dewa United would maintain Persib's competitive position at the top of the temporary standings.

Solid Defense, Teja Paku Alam as the Key

Julio stated he's confident in Persib's increasingly solid defensive strength.

He highlighted the excellent collaboration with Federico Barba and Patricio Matricardi, along with the performance of goalkeeper Teja Paku Alam.

“We played very well, managed to control all their strikers' actions and did an excellent job together with (Federico) Barba and Patricio (Matricardi),” explained Julio.

With increasingly solid defensive displays and consistent attacking foundation, Persib has strong capital to secure three points at home.

Persib Still Chasing Borneo FC

Persib Bandung currently sits fourth in the temporary BRI Super League standings with 19 points from nine matches. They trail leaders Borneo FC by 11 points.

The match against Dewa United presents a vital opportunity to keep their title challenge alive and reaffirm Persib's ambition in this season's championship pursuit.
