Bayern's victory came through two goals from Luis Diaz. PSG briefly narrowed the deficit via Joao Neves. This win places Bayern Munich atop the current Champions League group stage standings with 12 points from four matches.
Despite playing at home and dominating 64 percent possession with 25 shots, PSG had to acknowledge Bayern's superiority.

Luis Diaz scored an early goal in the 4th minute by capitalizing on a rebound, then doubled the lead in the 32nd minute by punishing a PSG defensive error.
Bayern temporarily lost Diaz after he received a red card in first-half stoppage time but held firm despite Joao Neves reducing the score in the 74th minute. The 2-1 scoreline remained until the final whistle.
Liverpool Returns to Winning Ways
Meanwhile at Anfield, Liverpool delivered a solid performance to hand Real Madrid their first Champions League defeat this season.
Alexis Mac Allister's 61st-minute strike proved decisive after connecting with Dominik Szoboszlai's free-kick delivery.
This victory lifts Liverpool to sixth place in the current Champions League group standings with nine points from four matches.
Liverpool appeared more aggressive with 17 shots, nine on target. Madrid held only a slight possession advantage at 53 percent.
Thibaut Courtois made multiple saves against Szoboszlai, Van Dijk and Gakpo, but ultimately couldn't stop Mac Allister's headed effort.
Madrid's attempts to equalize through Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham proved unsuccessful as the match ended 1-0 in Liverpool's favor.
