Final Squad of the Indonesian National Team for the 2026 AFF Cup is dominated by Persib and Persija.

Persib Bandung and Persija Jakarta dominate the final Indonesia National Team squad for the ASEAN Hyundai Cup 2026, also known as the AFF Cup 2026. These two Super League giant clubs have contributed a total of 13 players out of the 26 names called up by head coach John Herdman.

Persib, which recently made history by securing three consecutive Super League titles, is the largest contributor of players. The Maung Bandung have sent 7 squad members: Beckham Putra, Thom Haye, Eliano Reijnders, Marc Klok, Saddil Ramdani, alongside their two new signings Sandy Walsh and Ragnar Oratmangoen.

Persib's dominance is followed by their historic arch-rivals Persija Jakarta. The Macan Kemayoran contributed 6 players: Rizky Ridho, Jordi Amat, Dony Tri Pamungkas, Shayne Pattynama, Rayhan Hannan, and new first team goalkeeper Nadeo Argawinata.

Of the 26 players selected after the centralized training camp held since early this month in Bali, the vast majority are registered to domestic Super League clubs.

Only 3 diaspora players currently active overseas made the final squad. These are Marselino Ferdinan (Oxford United - England), Justin Hubner (Fortuna Sittard - Netherlands), and Mitchell Baker (Vermont Green - United States). Mitchell Baker only recently received official Indonesian citizenship status.

For the 2026 ASEAN Hyundai Cup, Indonesia has been drawn into Group A alongside Vietnam, Singapore, Cambodia and Timor Leste.

Indonesia's tournament campaign will open with a home fixture against Cambodia at Pakansari Stadium, Bogor on Monday 27 July. After this match, Indonesia will face Timor Leste in Chonburi on 31 July, host Vietnam back at Pakansari on 3 August, before closing the group stage with an away tie against Singapore at Jalan Besar Stadium on 7 August.

This tournament presents another chance for Indonesia to claim their first ever AFF Cup trophy. The Garuda have reached the competition final on six separate occasions to date, but have never once lifted the championship title.
