Persija Jakarta has begun demonstrating its seriousness in preparation for the 2026/2027 Super League by bringing in three new players during the transfer window. The Macan Kemayoran have reinforced their forward line, goalkeeping department, and defence through the signings of Victor Dethan, Aqil Savik, and Croatian national team defender Denis Kolinger.

The first name announced was young winger Victor Dethan, signed from PSM Makassar. The 21-year-old player has emerged as one of the country's promising young talents over the last few seasons.

"We hope he can quickly adapt to the playing system that Coach Shin Tae-yong wants, so that his full potential can be maximised," stated Persija President Mohamad Prapanca in an official release.

Dethan expressed his pride at being given the opportunity to represent Persija, one of Indonesia's biggest clubs. Born in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, the player has set his sights on helping Persija compete for the championship title.

"I will work hard every single day and adapt as fast as possible to earn the coach's trust. I hope I can give my best contribution and help bring Persija back to winning major titles," said Dethan.

Last season, Dethan made 24 appearances for PSM Makassar, registering two goals and two assists. His experience competing in the AFC Champions League Qualifiers, AFC Cup, ASEAN Club Championship, as well as youth international level will be a valuable asset for him to compete within the Persija squad.

Alongside Dethan, Persija have strengthened their goalkeeping ranks with the acquisition of Aqil Savik. The 27-year-old goalkeeper has signed a one-season contract following consistent performances for Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC.

"We are very happy that Aqil is joining Persija. Based on the performances he showed in last season's Super League, we are optimistic he will be able to compete well and deliver positive contributions for the team's campaign next season," said Prapanca.

Aqil recorded 30 appearances last season, making 88 saves and keeping nine clean sheets. The former youth international goalkeeper is confident Persija is the right environment to develop his career.

"Persija is a huge club with a long history and incredible supporters. The management and I share a clear, aligned vision. That is what made me even more certain Persija is the right destination for me to achieve big targets going forward," said Aqil.

To bolster their defensive line, Persija have brought in Croatian centre-back Denis Kolinger. Previously captain of NK Lokomotiva Zagreb, he has accumulated over 200 professional club appearances, and earned one senior cap for the Croatia national team.

Kolinger's transfer was confirmed by NK Lokomotiva Zagreb via the club's official social media channels.

"Denis Kolinger has concluded his career with Lokomotiva and will continue his professional journey at Indonesian club Persija Jakarta," read the club's statement posted on X.

Kolinger is Persija's third signing in this current transfer window. Club President Mohamad Prapanca confirmed that all player recruitment processes have been fully handed over to Head Coach Shin Tae-yong.
