Embracing this trend, the Indonesian Golf Course Owners Association (APLGI) together with Satue (PT Satu Tujuan Event) presents the Indonesia Golf Festival 2025, the largest golf exhibition in the country, to be held at ICE BSD, October 24–26, 2025. Carrying the spirit of "Golf for Everyone," this event aims to shatter the stigma that golf belongs only to certain circles, because now, anyone can enjoy this elegant game.

A New Milestone for Indonesian Golf

Chairman of APLGI, H.M. Tachril Sapi’ie (Aling), emphasized that this event is not merely an exhibition, but an important moment to build a more open and inclusive golf ecosystem.

"The Indonesia Golf Festival, which is our inaugural event, is expected to become a significant milestone in strengthening the ecosystem and expanding the golf industry market in Indonesia," said Aling to the media in BSD South Tangerang recently.

More than just a sport, golf is now part of a large-value lifestyle industry. From fashion and accessories to tourism packages, all have their own market niches. This was affirmed by Sian Christine Wiradinata, Chairperson of the Indonesia Golf Festival 2025.

She explained that this event will be a space for golf business players, ranging from equipment providers, simulators, golf carts, to tour services and training.

"The Indonesia Golf Festival is expected to contribute to national economic growth, as many golf lifestyle business sectors are showcased," she stated.

From the organizer's side, Bambang Setiawan, Director of Satue Event, added that this festival also opens doors for cross-industry collaboration.

"Through the Indonesia Golf Festival 2025, we want to introduce golf more widely as an activity that anyone can enjoy, while opening up prospective cross-industry collaboration opportunities," said Bambang.

With over 60 golf courses in 16 provinces under APLGI, and Indonesia's population reaching 300 million, the expansion potential of this industry is very promising.

Experience the Game – Celebrating the Sport

Not just an exhibition, the Indonesia Golf Festival 2025 is designed as an experience hub where visitors can directly feel the sensation of golf.

Carrying the tagline "Experience the Game – Celebrating the Sport," this concept emphasizes that golf is not only about scores and technique, but also about fun, community, and lifestyle.

"Through 'Experience the Game', visitors are invited to feel the excitement of golf firsthand. Meanwhile, through 'Celebrating the Sport', we show that golf has a warm, dynamic ecosystem full of opportunities, just like other popular sports," explained Bambang.

An area of 2,600 m² will host more than 90 exhibitors and 100 leading brands participating. According to Tachril, this is the best way to celebrate golf as a sport for everyone.

"This concept aligns with our vision to democratize golf. We are not just selling products, but also presenting an experience for all segments," he said.

New Sensations at Indonesia Golf Festival 2025

Visitors will be greeted by various interactive zones taking golf to a new level, such as Free Golf Simulator Trial, Beginner's Golf Clinic, Mini Golf Challenge, and Club Fitting & Demo Area.

Additionally, there will be a Golf Business Forum, Community Gathering, and Meet & Greet with pro golfers – a rare opportunity for fans to learn directly from the experts.

Golf is now entering a new chapter in Indonesia, no longer a symbol of exclusivity, but a space for expression and building relationships.
