Duta Paiton Beach is the flagship tourist destination in Probolinggo, well-known for its stunning sunset views.

Probolinggo Regency, East Java has launched another Family Nature Tourism destination. One of the increasingly visited spots is Duta Paiton Beach located in Randutatah Village, Paiton Subdistrict, Probolinggo Regency.

The Probolinggo Regency Government is pushing for development of this tourist area, as it is assessed to hold strong potential as a leading regional destination. Duta Beach offers a combined experience of coastal scenery, mangrove forests, and captivating sunset views.

Heri Mulyadi, Head of the Youth, Sports and Tourism Office of Probolinggo Regency, has called on the public to support the sustainability of the local tourism sector.

“I invite the community to keep supporting the development of our local tourism industry by maintaining cleanliness and preserving all existing Tourist Destinations,” stated Heri Mulyadi in an official statement on Thursday.

Probolinggo Regency is widely known for its abundant natural tourist attractions, ranging from mountains, waterfalls, lakes, to a stretch of exotic coastal lines.

“One destination that is now seeing growing visitor traffic is Duta Beach in Randutatah Village, Paiton Subdistrict,” he noted.

Duta Beach has become a traveller favourite as it is perfectly suited for family recreation. The open shoreline paired with cool fresh air and untouched natural ambience makes visitors feel comfortable staying for extended periods.

Beyond coastal scenery, this tourist area also features dense pine groves and elevated wooden boardwalks winding through the mangrove zone. These areas have become favourite spots for visitors to take leisurely walks, soak in the natural atmosphere, and capture instagrammable photos.

One of the most anticipated experiences at Duta Beach is the sunset view. The dusk sky merging with the seascape creates a romantic and calming atmosphere.

The Probolinggo Regency Government continues to strengthen Tourism Promotion for this beach through various regional tourism programmes. This year, the local administration will host the "Seven Beach Festival" as a follow-up to the previously successfully held "Seven Lakes Festival".

“The existence of this tourist site also proves that Probolinggo Regency possesses outstanding natural Tourism Potential that deserves continuous development as a flagship regional destination,” he concluded.
