The Indonesia National Team has announced a provisional squad ahead of the June 2026 FIFA Matchday schedule. Head coach John Herdman called up a total of 44 players to begin preparations for two international matches that will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta.
According to an official post from the Indonesia National Team Instagram account on Friday, the Garuda squad will play two matches against Oman on 5 June 2026 and Mozambique on 9 June 2026. Both fixtures are part of Indonesia's preparation process for upcoming competitive international tournaments.
Regular national team players appear once again on this provisional list. Goalkeeper Maarten Paes returns to the call-up to strengthen Indonesia's defensive line. Venezia captain Jay Idzes is also included in the player roster.

Meanwhile, the midfield unit will continue to rely on Calvin Verdonk's creativity. Attention is also directed at young striker Beckham Putra, who is given another chance to prove his ability at international level.
However, this 44-player list is not the final squad. John Herdman alongside his coaching staff will still carry out the selection process before finalising the best team composition to face Oman and Mozambique.
The June 2026 FIFA Matchday window acts as a key opportunity for the Indonesia National Team to improve match performance quality as well as advance their position in the FIFA rankings.
Playing in front of home supporters at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium is also expected to provide additional advantage for the Garuda squad to achieve positive results.
