Indonesian tennis player Aldila Sutjiadi alongside her doubles partner Vera Zvonareva successfully advanced to the 2026 Morocco Open semi-finals, after overcoming an intense match in the Quarter Final of the WTA 250 Rabat tournament on Thursday, 21 May 2026.
The top-seeded pair defeated the sister duo from the United States, Carmen Corley and Ivana Corley, through a tight three-set battle with final scores 6-4, 6-7(9), 10-5.
According to WTA official records, Aldila and Vera performed solidly in the first set by capitalising on their serving advantage while making minimal unforced errors. They also took advantage of multiple double faults committed by the opposing side.

However, match momentum shifted in the second set as the Corley pair began playing aggressively. Aldila/Vera briefly escaped pressure when they took the lead in the 11th game at a 5-5 standing.
Even so, the American pair managed to equalise the score and forced the match into a fiercely contested tie-break. The Corley sisters ultimately took the second set with a 9-7 tie-break victory.
Refusing to surrender their chance, Aldila and Vera rallied back in the deciding super tie-break. They immediately played dominantly, opening up a 4-1 lead before sealing the win for this 1 hour 47 minute long match.
For the semi-final round, Aldila/Vera are scheduled to face the Slovenia-Poland pairing of Nika Radisic and Katarzyna Piter.
Nika/Katarzyna had previously eliminated third seeds Shuko Aoyama and Liang En-shuo with scores 7-5, 6-4 in the Quarter Final round.
While Aldila advanced to the final four, another Indonesian representative Janice Tjen was stopped in the Round of 16 of the singles competition.
Playing as the first seed, Janice was defeated by Colombian Tennis Player Camila Osorio in a three-set match with final scores 3-6, 6-3, 0-6.
