"As someone who loves playing padel now, I'm glad these new padel spots can also be used as hangout places for young people. Right now, youth culture has shifted: instead of hanging out at malls, cafes or bars, they now head to Sports facilities like padel clubs," said Tities, Sunday 17 May 2026.
According to her, hangout trends among Young Generation have begun to change. Now, sports venues such as padel clubs have become a new alternative for gathering while also maintaining physical fitness.
Valerie Tifanka expressed the same view. This young actress admitted she enjoys exploring various new padel venues that are now starting to become widely available across the Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi areas.
"I really like exploring new places, because padel locations that have many spacious courts are still quite hard to come by," said Valerie.
Valerie assessed that sports venues integrated with other public facilities provide a different experience for visitors. Aside from exercising, people can also relax and socialise all in one location.
This phenomenon shows that sport has now become increasingly intertwined with social activities of urban communities, especially among young people who are looking for new experiences while exercising and socialising.
