Young Indonesian racer Veda Ega Pratama achieved an impressive result by finishing fourth in the fifth round of the 2026 Moto3 World Championship held at the Bugatti Circuit, Le Mans, France on Sunday, May 10, 2026.

The Honda Team Asia rider delivered a consistent performance in the race, which took place on a wet track filled with incidents. The race itself was shortened to 13 laps after officials implemented the wet race procedure due to weather conditions.

Veda started the race from sixth position. However, a less-than-ideal start caused the rider from Gunungkidul, Special Region of Yogyakarta, to drop as low as 14th place in the early laps.

Despite this, Veda gradually recovered and improved his position amid intense competition and numerous crash incidents on the slippery Le Mans circuit.

Early in the race, an incident involving Brian Uriarte and David Muñoz prompted a yellow flag in the first sector. This situation affected the race rhythm of several riders.

Entering the fourth lap, Veda began moving into the top 10 positions after Joel Kelso crashed. The Indonesian rider successfully capitalized on this momentum to continue overtaking his rivals.

Veda even approached the podium zone at one point. However, he couldn't close the gap to Matteo Bertelle, who ultimately finished third.

Meanwhile, the victory in the 2026 French Moto3 was claimed by Maximo Quiles from CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team with a time of 24 minutes 41.640 seconds.

Second place went to Adrian Fernandez from Leopard Racing, finishing 1.888 seconds behind. Matteo Bertelle from LEVEL UP-MTA completed the podium in third.

Veda finished fourth, 7.659 seconds behind the winner, securing an additional 13 points from the Le Mans round.

This result marks a positive achievement for Veda Ega Pratama in the 2026 Moto3 season and demonstrates his potential to compete at the front in world championship racing.
