Jakarta – Talented young racer from Indonesia, Muhammad Kiandra Ramadhipa, has shown significant progress in the 2026 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup series held at Bugatti Circuit, Le Mans, France. Throughout the Weekend, the Sleman-born rider improved his lap times and secured a crucial position at the top of the provisional Standings.
Tough Battle in Race 1
The racing weekend began with considerable challenges during Saturday's first race (9/5/2026). Starting from 12th position, Ramadhipa struggled to break free from the midfield pack, battling between 11th and 13th places throughout the race.
Composure and fortune saw Ramadhipa finish 10th on Saturday afternoon after race leader David Gonzalez crashed at the final corner of the last lap. This incident promoted all following riders by one position. Ramadhipa crossed the finish line 6.283 seconds behind Race 1 winner Benat Fernandez.

Remarkable Comeback in Race 2
Ramadhipa's performance surged dramatically in Sunday's second race (10/5/2026). Despite starting 14th, the 16-year-old displayed controlled aggression, methodically climbing to 11th by lap five and seventh by lap seven.
Late-race drama unfolded when Ramadhipa dropped to ninth on lap 13 and tenth on the final lap. A clever last-second maneuver allowed him to overtake Italian rider Giulio Pugliese, securing sixth place. In Race 2, Ramadhipa finished merely 0.549 seconds behind winner David Gonzalez.
Standings Battle and Personal Record
Results from both French races earned Ramadhipa 16 additional points (6 from Race 1 + 10 from Race 2), cementing his third-place position in the provisional standings with 50 points. He now closely trails Spanish duo Benat Fernandez (74 points) and Fernando Bujosa (64 points).
This achievement positions Ramadhipa to surpass his eighth-place finish in the 2025 season. His impressive trajectory follows compatriot Veda Ega Pratama, last year's runner-up who has since graduated to Moto3.
Consistency remains key for Sleman's pride to keep flying the Red-and-White flag in international Motorcycle Racing during upcoming rounds.
