Persija vs Persib Heats Up! Victory Becomes Valuable Asset Ahead of Crucial Duel at GBK

The heated duel between Persija Jakarta and Persib Bandung is drawing near. The Week 32 clash in the Super League 2025/2026 at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on Sunday, May 10, 2026, is not just a classic encounter, but also a decisive match in the title race. “Most importantly, this win solidifies our position in the Standings,” Hodak stated in Bandung.

The Croatian coach also received good news from the dressing room. Persib is in optimal condition heading into the trip to Jakarta, with no players forced to miss out.

In his analysis, Hodak assessed that his team played solidly despite being under high pressure, even managing to score an early goal.

However, he highlighted that Persib lost control of the game at times and failed to capitalize on several opportunities.

“We had many chances in the first and second half, but there was a bit of nervousness. I wish we could have scored more than one goal,” he said.
