Persib Bandung is moving swiftly to secure coach Bojan Hodak's future amid their mission for a Super League title hat-trick. Under Hodak's guidance, Maung Bandung has dominated the top tier of Indonesian Football over the last two seasons.

The Croatian coach confirmed ongoing new contract negotiations following an offer from club owner Glenn Sugita. Though no final agreement has been reached, positive signals are emerging from both parties.

“We're in talks, discussions are happening. They're okay—Mr. Glenn (Sugita) made me a good offer—but I have other considerations in my life too, so I'm still talking with him and hope everything concludes well,” Hodak stated as quoted by the official I.League website on Thursday.

Hodak's current contract expires at the end of the BRI Super League 2025/2026 season. Amid negotiations, his primary focus remains leading Persib to historic third consecutive league title.

Initially signed on a one-year deal to replace Luis Milla, Hodak made an immediate impact. His championship success prompted management to extend his contract in 2024 for two additional years.

With consistent performances and a strong chance for a title hat-trick, many now consider Hodak a long-term asset worth retaining.

Mathematically, the 54-year-old coach needs only six to seven more victories to secure the third consecutive championship.

This target could be achieved sooner if closest rivals Borneo FC Samarinda fail to maintain consistency in the season's remaining matches.

Persib faces a challenging schedule: after playing bali, they host three crucial home games—against Arema FC (April 24), PSIM Yogyakarta (May 4), and Persijap Jepara (May 23).

Additionally, four away fixtures await, including a high-stakes clash against archrival Persija Jakarta in the capital on May 10—a potential title decider.
