Kylian Mbappe's move towards becoming the all-time top scorer for the French National Team is becoming increasingly real. His one-goal contribution in France's victory over Brazil signals that the Les Bleus' all-time scoring record is only a matter of time.
Playing at Gillette Stadium in a friendly match on Friday, March 27, 2026 (early morning WIB), Mbappe opened his team's lead in the 32nd minute after receiving a through pass from Ousmane Dembele.
Hugo Ekitike doubled France's lead in the 65th minute before Bremer reduced the deficit in the 78th minute. The match ended 2-1 for France.

With the additional goal against Brazil, Mbappe has now collected 56 goals in 95 appearances for the national team.
The Real Madrid striker needs just two more goals to surpass the record held by Olivier Giroud, who scored 57 goals in 137 caps.
This momentum also answers fans' doubts about his fitness condition.
Mbappe had been troubled by a knee injury and was absent from the starting lineup since the La Liga match against Osasuna on February 21st.
Beyond the individual achievement, Mbappe emphasized that the match against Brazil held far greater significance than its status as a friendly.
"I said before the match, for us this is not just a friendly match. Playing against Brazil is an opportunity for any country. We have immense respect for that nation," Mbappe stated.
He added that the match against Brazil was also a chance to gauge his team's level in terms of tactics, technique, and match intensity.
"So it was enjoyable to play a match like this," he concluded.
