Kiandra Ramadhipa has made a giant leap. At 16 years old, the young Indonesian racer is ready to compete in the FIM Moto3 Junior World Championship 2026 on the upcoming 24th of May. This marks a crucial step in paving the way to the elite world racing stage.

Quoted from the FIM website, Kiandra's name has been included in the rider list for the 2026 season. He will strengthen Honda Asia-Dream Racing Junior and compete with 29 other riders from around the world.

Interestingly, Kiandra is the sole Indonesian representative in this event. Kiandra is one of five Asian riders in this event.

The other four Asian riders are Yaroslav Karpushin, Seiryu Ikegami, Ryota Ogiwara, and Kiattisak Singhapong.

The FIM Moto3 Junior World Championship is not just a junior championship, but also a primary pathway to the Moto3 class, which is part of the MotoGP ecosystem.

This means that every lap completed by Kiandra will be a stepping stone towards the most prestigious motorcycle racing stage in the world.

The challenge becomes even more relevant considering that his fellow Indonesian, Veda Ega Pratama, has already broken into Moto3 starting in the 2026 season.

Now, Kiandra is trying to catch up while proving his capacity at the international level.

Kiandra's track record shows he is more than just a potential talent. In 2025, Kiandra finished fifth in the final Standings of the European Talent Cup after achieving two series wins, an impressive achievement for a debutant.

In the same year, he secured eighth position in the Red Bull Rookies Cup with one podium as runner-up.
