PSSI announces Indonesia's final squad for FIFA Series 2026, surprise new uncut names included.

The Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) officially released the list of Indonesian National Team players who will compete in the FIFA Series 2026 on Saturday.
The Garuda squad, now managed by coach John Herdman, consists of a total of 24 players. The team composition includes four goalkeepers, nine defenders, five midfielders, and six forwards.
This number is the result of the final selection from an initial list of 41 players. Herdman conducted a rigorous evaluation to determine the players deemed most prepared for this international tournament.

Several names were eliminated during the selection process. In the goalkeeper position, Persebaya Surabaya's Ernando Ari did not make the final list.
In defense, players such as Muhammad Ferarri, Fajar Fathurrahman, and Yance Sayuri were also not called up.
Meanwhile, midfielders including Marc Klok, Ricky Kambuaya, Witan Sulaeman, Egy Maulana Vikri, Tim Geypens, Ezra Walian, and Victor Dethan were also omitted.
In the forward line, coach Herdman excluded Milliano Jonathans, Adrian Wibowo, Hokky Caraka, Jens Raven, and Stefano Lilipaly from the final squad.
Regarding club contributions, Persija Jakarta provided the most players with four names. Persib Bandung followed with two players, while other clubs each contributed one player.
As host of the FIFA Series 2026, Indonesia is scheduled to play its opening match against Saint Kitts and Nevis on March 27 at 20:00 WIB. On the same day, Bulgaria will face the Solomon Islands at 15:30 WIB.
