Mandalika Racing Series 2026 is geared up for five races at the Mandalika Circuit.

The racing circuit on Lombok's south coast is preparing to welcome the Mandalika Racing Series 2026 season. The Mandalika Grand Prix Association confirms the races will return to the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara.

"The event will be held over five rounds at the Mandalika Circuit Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara," said MGPA Director Priandhi Satria in Central Lombok on Thursday.

Entering its fourth season since its inception in 2023, the Mandalika Racing Series is increasingly positioned as a crucial foundation for developing Indonesia's motorcycle racing ecosystem. 

This championship not only provides competition but also serves as a development pathway for Indonesian Riders towards the international level.

"Since its first season in 2023, this championship has been a competitive platform for both young and senior riders to enhance their racing quality according to national and international standards," he said.

The results of this development are becoming visible in the 2026 international racing season. Indonesian rider Aldi Satya Mahendra made history by achieving a podium finish in the Supersport World Championship Australian round.

Meanwhile, young talent Veda Ega Pratama impressed in his Moto3 World Championship debut in Thailand, finishing in fifth position.

In addition to them, two Indonesian riders from the ProGP NitiRacing team, Felix Putra Mulya and Arai Agaska Dibani Laksana, are scheduled to make their debuts in the World Sportbike Championship.

Indonesia will also be represented by Dimas Ekky Pratama, who will compete with the NitiRacing team in the Bagger World Cup.

At the regional and junior levels, several Indonesian riders are also being prepared for various races such as the Asia Road Racing Championship, Moto4 Asia Cup, and Moto4 European Cup.

For the 2026 season, all rounds of the Mandalika Racing Series will take place at the Mandalika Circuit. Round 1 (April 24-26, 2026), Round 2 (June 19-21, 2026), Round 3 (August 7-9, 2026), Round 4 (September 18-20, 2026) and Round 5 (November 6-8, 2026).

MGPA hopes this championship continues to grow and gain increasing support from various stakeholders.

"We hope the 2026 season can be implemented successfully and attract more stakeholders, including sponsors, to support its development," he concluded.
