Travel Journey is often synonymous with suitcases full of clothes and various accessories. However, for some men, Traveling is about practicality: How to maintain a neat appearance without carrying too many items. Travel Content Creator Kevin Benedico shares tips so male travelers can look stylish without sacrificing comfort.

Kevin said the key to men's travel style is smart simplicity.

"First, to stay stylish while Traveling, I usually choose neutral, timeless colors that are also easy to mix and match," said Kevin at the Heritage on the Move event at Gambir Station Jakarta, Wednesday.

According to him, men generally have a different approach compared to women when preparing clothes for a trip.

Many men choose to carry minimal items to maintain comfortable mobility. Therefore, layering techniques become a crucial strategy for creating style variations without adding numerous garments to the suitcase.

Kevin recommends basic, easy-to-combine colors like white, black, and cream. This simple palette allows one clothing item to work for various situations—from city strolls to casual dinners.

"For example, a white polo shirt: wear it plain today, add a jacket tomorrow, pair it with a scarf the next day. No need to pack heavily—it appears as different looks using the same clothes," he explained.

Beyond layering, simple accessories can refresh an outfit. Kevin suggests bringing a versatile cloth or scarf.

Apart from being a style element, it can serve as sun protection for the head, a neck warmer in cold weather, or a dust mask while exploring cities.

But style isn’t the only consideration. Kevin stresses the importance of comfortable shoes, especially for overseas travelers where walking often dominates the Tourism experience.

Preparation extends beyond outfits. Smart suitcase organization is vital for practical travel.

Kevin recommends rolling clothes instead of folding them to maximize space efficiency and minimize wrinkles.

He also advises travelers to plan their wardrobe. Choose flexible items suitable for multiple occasions, like a versatile jacket and shoes for both casual and semi-formal settings.

Inside the suitcase, Kevin suggests packing travel-sized toiletries, a spare tote bag, snacks, a multipurpose cloth, and personal medication to ensure trip comfort.

Finally, he reminds Travelers of one often-overlooked detail: souvenir space.

"Last but not least, reserve a little space for souvenirs. Whether it’s a homecoming trip or leisure travel, souvenirs are inevitable. Don’t fill your suitcase completely—leave room specifically for them," concluded Kevin.(ANTARA)
