Since 2024, this competition has officially honored the late Deddy Tedjamukti, Indonesia's national tennis coach renowned for developing young athletes before his passing from cancer.
This year's edition featured collaborative social activities with the Indonesian Children's Cancer Foundation (YKAI). Participants and spectators joined Coaching Clinics conducted by former national players including Angelique Widjaja, Sandy and Beatrice Gumulya, and Lavinia Tananta.
Transcending mere competition, the Deddy Tedjamukti International Junior Championships serves as a developmental platform fostering friendship and inspiration for Indonesia's new tennis generation aspiring to elevate the nation's standing globally.
