Persib Bandung coach, Bojan Hodak, emphasized his team's chances remain open despite trailing by three goals against Ratchaburi FC in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League Two 2025/26.
Persib will host Ratchaburi FC in the second leg at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, with the challenging mission of overturning the 3-0 deficit to secure a Quarter Final ticket.
“The 3-0 score (first leg) is a difficult result to overcome. But you never know in Football—anything is possible. We'll go out, give our best, and I hope to achieve a positive result,” said Hodak.

Believing Football Miracles Can Still Happen
The heavy first-leg defeat has placed Persib under significant pressure. However, Hodak refuses to concede defeat before playing in front of their home crowd.
The Croatian coach stated the previous match provided valuable lessons. He acknowledged his squad committed too many errors individually and collectively, leading to the situation spiraling out of control.
“In the first match, we made too many mistakes. It was one of those games where everything went wrong,” Hodak stated.
This optimism isn't mere rhetoric. Hodak believes the home atmosphere could prove decisive in this crucial encounter.
Bobotoh Key at GBLA
Persib requires a victory by at least four goals to secure advancement to this season's AFC Champions League Two quarter-finals—a daunting yet achievable task in football.
Hodak hopes the full support of Bobotoh at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium will energize the players while psychologically pressuring the visitors.
“I hope we’ll have a packed stadium,” he said.
With full stands backing them and motivation to redeem their first-leg performance, Persib Bandung now prepares for a Do-or-Die Match. Everything remains possible, and Hodak believes a miracle can unfold in Bandung.
