Persib Bandung stands on the brink of elimination. Trailing by three goals from the first leg, Maung Bandung faces a do-or-die match against Ratchaburi FC in the second leg of the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League (ACL) II at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium, Wednesday, 18 February 2026 at 19:15 WIB.

Overturning the 0-3 deficit is no easy task. Yet amid this pressure, good news comes from the wing. Beckham Putra confirmed he is ready to return to action and be part of this nearly impossible comeback effort.

As quoted from the club's official website, Beckham has already started participating in full team training sessions with the Persib Bandung squad. His presence adds energy to an attack that was blunt in the first meeting in Thailand.

"Alhamdulillah, my condition has recovered. I've also participated in full training. Hopefully, in the next match, I can make an impact for the team," said Beckham.

In the first leg of the Round of 16, Persib Bandung lost 0-3 to hosts Ratchaburi FC, with Beckham absent due to injury.

The player wearing the number 7 jersey acknowledged that heavy defeat was a significant blow to the team.

However, in this tight spot, mentality becomes key. Beckham emphasized the squad's focus is now entirely on the decisive match in Bandung.

"We have to look forward because Wednesday is a do-or-die match," Beckham explained.

The atmosphere at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api is predicted to be a differentiating factor. Beckham places great hope on the support of the Bobotoh fans, believing it can provide an extra moral boost for the Blue Prince.

"We are supported by our 12th player, the Bobotoh. Hopefully, we can play to our maximum and show that we are the best in Indonesia," Beckham concluded.

With a 0-3 aggregate, Persib needs a win by at least three goals to force extra time, or by four unanswered goals to qualify directly.

A mission impossible on paper, but in football, big nights often arise from belief and the full support of the stands.
