Persib Bandung approaches the final Group G match of AFC Champions League Two (ACL Two) 2025/2026 with high alertness. Though only needing a draw to secure qualification for the Round of 16, coach Bojan Hodak emphasized Maung Bandung won't underestimate their visitors.
The Persib vs. Bangkok United match will be held at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA), Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
“Tomorrow will be a tough match for us. Currently, we are the two best teams in the group. During the first meeting in Thailand, they gave us considerable difficulty. So we hope to achieve a positive result,” stated Hodak in Bandung on Tuesday.

Despite only needing one point to advance, Hodak confirmed Persib still aims for victory.
He assured all players are in peak condition following their 3-1 win against Borneo FC in last weekend's BRI Super League match.
“The team's preparation is excellent. We've had four days after facing Borneo FC to refine our strategy. The victory in the last match has created a very positive team atmosphere,” he said.
This momentum places Persib in solid mental standing. However, Hodak still considers Bangkok United a dangerous opponent that mustn't be given space.
Marc Klok: No Compromise at GBLA
Midfielder and team captain Marc Klok echoed his coach's determination. He believes the duel against Bangkok United will be a crucial match not only for Persib but also for Indonesia.
“I think tomorrow will be an exciting, entertaining, and captivating match. Competing in this tournament is very important for Persib and Indonesia,” said Klok.
Klok added all players will give their utmost effort to secure a ticket to the knockout phase.
“We all know the target we want to achieve now. It's time for us to seize it—for the club, the city's pride, and the nation. Personally, I'm highly enthusiastic about facing Bangkok United,” he explained.
In their first encounter at Pathum Thani Stadium, Bangkok, on October 1, Persib defeated Bangkok United 2-0.
That victory serves as valuable capital for the GBLA clash, while also reminding them the opponent possesses the quality to put up a fight.(Antara)
