Young Indonesian racer Qarrar Firhand made a perfect start on the European stage. He successfully clinched victory in the opening round of the WSK Euro Series 2026 in the OK category at the Viterbo International Circuit, Italy, simultaneously hoisting the Red and White flag on the top step of the podium.
In the final race held on Saturday, February 14th, 2026, local time, Qarrar displayed consistent and dominant performance from the early stages of the event. The Ward Racing driver swept through the heats sessions, prefinal, and final, showcasing mature race control and pace management throughout the Weekend.
"This tremendous success is inseparable from the full support of various parties who have continuously backed my steps on the international asphalt," Qarrar said as quoted from a written statement.

In the main race, Qarrar secured the victory with a 4.679-second advantage over his Spanish teammate, Benjamin Manach. This result immediately propelled him to the top of the provisional Euro Series OK Championship Standings with a haul of 111 points. He holds a significant lead over his closest rival, German driver Luke Kornder, who has collected 55 points.
Qarrar's performance was even more impressive as it was achieved amidst changing track conditions. Rain had soaked Viterbo, making the track slippery, yet he remained stable. In fact, Qarrar was the only driver capable of recording lap times in the 1 minute 3.800 seconds range, with top speed touching 100.4 kilometers per hour.
This victory underscores the competitiveness of Indonesian racers on the European racing scene, long considered the benchmark for development towards the world professional level. The achievement in Viterbo also serves as valuable capital for Qarrar ahead of his debut in the British Formula 4 (F4) championship mid-season.
With such a convincing start to the competition, Qarrar's opportunity to maintain consistency and compete for the WSK Euro Series 2026 title is now wide open.
