The 2025/26 Italian League winter transfer window officially closed on Monday, February 2, 2026. While many clubs utilized January to reinforce their squads, Milan's two giants concluded the window without major splashes.
Inter Milan welcomed Jakirovic from Dinamo Zagreb and Massolin from Modena while releasing Palacios to Estudiantes.
Meanwhile, AC Milan's activity was even quieter, only acquiring Niclas Fullkrug from West Ham without releasing any players.

This contrasted sharply with other clubs' movements. Genoa stood out by activating the purchase option for Norwegian defender Leo Ostigard from Stade Rennes.
The defender was redeemed for €5 million following his impressive loan spell.
Genoa finalized the window by ending Albert Gronbaek's loan, who returned to Rennes.
Verona loaned Stefan Mitrovic to Asteras Aktor.
Napoli released Cyril Ngonge to Espanyol for a €2 million loan fee, while Luca Marianucci continued his season with Torino.
Fiorentina streamlined their squad by loaning M’Bala Nzola to Sassuolo. Lecce emerged among the busiest clubs for both incoming and outgoing transfers.
Torino strengthened their frontline by loaning Sandro Kulenovic from Dinamo Zagreb for €500,000.
High activity was also seen at Juventus and Bologna. Juventus signed Emil Holm from Bologna, while Bologna brought in Joao Mario from the Turin club.
Both teams leveraged January to adjust squad depth for the season's second half.
Amid this activity, the Milan duo's passive stance raises questions and interpretations.
Does this reflect full confidence in existing squads, or a strategic pause for bigger summer moves?
