Indonesian National Team enters a new era, not only on the field but also through the identity embodied in the players' attire. PSSI officially introduced the New Apparel for the Indonesian National Team for Football and Futsal at an event in Jakarta on Friday, January 23, 2026.
Selecting this apparel wasn’t a swift process. PSSI conducted an open tender since July 2025, involving seven domestic and international manufacturers. From this process, Kelme, a Spanish manufacturer with a long international track record, was ultimately chosen as the official partner.
For PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir, Kelme’s involvement signifies more than just a jersey change. The entry of Kelme as an international brand, he added, signals that Indonesian Football is increasingly recognized in the global Sports industry.

"This isn’t just about the jerseys worn by the national team; it’s part of a broader strategy to elevate the value of our national Sports industry," stated Erick.
Kelme is committed to providing complete equipment for the Indonesian National Team, from senior level down to youth age groups. Beyond that, the bear-paw-logo manufacturer will also supply local tournaments, including the Soeratin Cup.
This new identity will also be worn by the Indonesian Futsal National Team, which will debut Kelme jerseys at the upcoming 2026 AFF Futsal Cup. Scheduled for late January, the tournament marks the official international debut of the new apparel.
Indonesian National Team Coach John Herdman welcomed the new apparel positively. For him, the kit isn’t mere equipment but a symbol of team identity and unity.
"Every element in this team holds meaning, including the apparel we wear daily. This new apparel brings fresh spirit to the Indonesian National Team, not only during matches but in all team activities—from training and preparation to camaraderie," said Herdman.
From the partner side, Kelme Indonesia affirmed its long-term commitment to the Indonesian National Team. Kelme Indonesia CEO Kevin Wijaya emphasized that high quality and consistency form the foundation of this collaboration.
He noted that the progress of national Football isn’t built overnight but through consistency, hard work, and shared commitment.
"Through collaboration with PSSI, Kelme is present not just as an apparel provider but as a partner growing alongside the Indonesian National Team," he stated.
This cooperation also has long-term certainty. Director of PT Garuda Indonesian Football (GSI) Marshal Masita revealed that PSSI’s contract with Kelme spans four years.
"The collaboration begins on March 1, 2026. Today we officially announce Kelme as the official sportswear of the Indonesian National Team for the next four years," said Marshal.
