PSSI is preparing to usher in a new era for the Indonesian National Team Jersey by announcing the latest official apparel on Friday, January 23, 2026. This announcement will be made at a special event at a hotel in South Jakarta, as communicated by the PSSI media team through invitations received by journalists.

This agenda marks a pivotal moment for the federation, not only signifying the launch of PSSI's new partnership with the Indonesian National Team's official apparel partner but also introducing the design of the Garuda squad's jerseys for future international matches.

The launch event is scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM WIB and will be attended directly by PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir and Indonesian National Team Coach John Herdman. The presence of these two key figures underscores the significance of this milestone for the national team's new journey.

Additionally, top officials of Indonesian football are also scheduled to attend. CEO of PT Garuda Sepak Bola Indonesia (GSI) Marsal Masita, the CEO of the soon-to-be-announced national team apparel partner, and Chairman of the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI) Michael Victor Sianipar are also on the guest list.

Ahead of the official announcement, social media speculation strongly points to Kelme as the selected apparel partner for the Indonesian national team. Kelme is a Spanish Sports Equipment brand established in 1963 in Elche, widely recognized by its iconic footprint logo.

In European football history, Kelme previously partnered with Spanish giants Real Madrid. In Indonesia, the brand currently serves as the official apparel provider for Persib Bandung, one of the country's clubs with the largest fanbase.

Previously, PSSI announced that seven apparel brands participated in the Indonesian national team tender: Kelme, adidas, Puma, Warrix, Masagi, Riors, and Erspo – the latter being the Garuda team's apparel provider for the past two years.

Currently, the national team remains under contract with Erspo until March.

The new apparel to be announced this Friday is also planned for use by the Indonesian futsal national team, which currently remains partnered with Specs until February.

This apparel launch is crucial ahead of the Indonesian national team's March fixtures. The Garuda squad is scheduled to compete in the FIFA Series 2026 in Jakarta.

FIFA has announced the four participating nations: host Indonesia, Bulgaria, Solomon Islands, and Saint Kitts and Nevis.

This event will simultaneously serve as the debut stage for John Herdman as the New Coach of the Indonesian National Team, featuring the fresh jersey ready to be unveiled to the public.
