Indonesian model and influencer Jeremiah Lakhwani is capturing public attention in Sports and entertainment after revealing an unexpected experience. He claims to have received an offer to undergo the selection process for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), the world's largest Sports entertainment promoter.
Jeremiah shared this information via a post on his personal Instagram account on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. In the post, Jeremiah showed a screenshot of a direct message sent by the verified blue-check official account @wwwerecruit, known as WWE's talent recruitment channel.
The message was sent by talent scout Macy Zaban, who conveyed WWE's interest in Jeremiah's Profile and character. In their assessment, Jeremiah was considered to have potential and an image aligned with WWE's DNA - a Sports entertainment industry that has produced iconic figures like Randy Orton, The Undertaker, and John Cena for decades.
"Hi Jeremiah, we recognize you as a potential candidate who fits our brand. I'm contacting you to ask if you're interested in the opportunity to undergo WWE tryouts," wrote the message from WWE.
The post quickly went viral and sparked discussions among netizens, particularly sports and professional wrestling fans. Jeremiah opened the floor for discussion by asking his followers' opinions about this unexpectedly major opportunity.
"Could I really become the first SMACKDOWN WWE superstar from Indonesia? Would I fit? What do you think?," Jeremiah wrote in his Instagram post caption.
Jeremiah's appeal stems partly from his striking physical appearance. His muscular build, long hair, thick beard, and extensive tattoos have led many netizens to note his resemblance to Roman Reigns, the six-time WWE world Champion considered one of modern wrestling's top stars.
This comparison is reinforced by his intimidating aura and visual charisma - crucial elements in sports entertainment.
Before this news emerged, Jeremiah Lakhwani first gained international attention through Netflix's South Korean survival show Physical: Asia. As Indonesia's representative, he demonstrated physical and mental endurance that captured global viewers' attention.
Though his appearance was brief, Jeremiah's performance was said to have nearly defeated UFC professional fighter Yushin Okami from Japan in a one-on-one duel. That moment went viral in Indonesian social media, cementing Jeremiah's image as a figure with competitive physical abilities extending beyond modeling and entertainment.
If this WWE selection process moves forward, Jeremiah could pioneer Indonesian representation on the global sports entertainment stage. Beyond viral sensation, this story demonstrates How modern athletic pathways can emerge from cross-disciplinary backgrounds - spanning modeling, adventure, and global sports entertainment arenas.
