On the slopes of the Karangmoncol hills, a new green space emerges not only as a vacation spot but also as a driver of Village Economy. Taman Cempulutan in Kramat Village, Karangmoncol Subdistrict, Purbalingga Regency, officially opens as a nature-based Tourist Destination.

This tourist attraction is directly managed by the village community through BUMDes Krida Mukti of Kramat Village.

Director of BUMDes Krida Mukti, Musodik, explained Taman Cempulutan adopts a family-friendly Nature Tourism concept with complete facilities.

Taman Cempulutan offers facilities including a children's swimming pool, playground, gazebos, prayer room, meeting hall, and camping ground area.

“So there is a camping place here. If the community wants to hold events or meetings, we also provide a hall,” he said during the inauguration of Taman Cempulutan, quoted from the Central Java Provincial Government website some time ago.

Nature as the Main Attraction

The swimming pool at Taman Cempulutan is one of the main attractions because it uses natural water sources from the Singa River flowing through Kramat Village.

Swimming in fresh, natural water provides a unique experience for visitors.
With an inclusive concept, ticket prices are made affordable.

For five thousand rupiah, visitors can enjoy all available facilities. However, additional fees apply for specific activities like camping, as management provides supporting facilities including tents.

“It is hoped that Taman Cempulutan can become a source of income for BUMDes and ultimately improve community welfare,” he expressed.

According to Musodik, this tourist area's development stems from village support. Besides enjoying nature, visitors can taste Sigotak Coffee, Kramat Village's signature robusta coffee and flagship product.

Connected and Educational Tourism

Kramat Village Head Jarwani emphasized that developing Taman Cempulutan is part of the village's long-term strategy.

"We hope after launching Taman Cempulutan, this area can bridge the birth of other facilities supporting the growth of Sigotak Village conservation tourism or Siregol Argo Buthak," he stated.

Jarwani noted Taman Cempulutan's presence functions not just as recreation, but also as Environmental Conservation education and a community economic driver.

Through an integrated concept, visitors can continue to surrounding Natural Destinations like conservation areas, adventure tourism, or simply enjoy hillscapes and waterfalls.

Safety and Comfort

Head of Tourism Division at Purbalingga's Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office, Sumarsono, appreciated the new destination's emergence. However, he stressed critical safety standards like lifeguards, life jackets, and alert personnel.

Beyond safety, Sumarsono also urged management to implement Sapta Pesona (Seven Charms) values to enhance visitor comfort.
