Nothing is more annoying than hearing the announcement, "Your flight has been delayed." Instantly, all travel plans fall apart, from hotel check-in schedules to carefully arranged itineraries. However, it turns out there's one simple trick that can be a lifesaver.

A veteran flight attendant named Ally Case shared her secret through a viral TikTok video. With years of experience in the air, Ally knows exactly how the flight system works and how to avoid stressful delays.

"This needs a little emphasis because it’s so important. Always book the first flight of the day," said Ally, as reported by the Daily Record.

Yes, the secret is that simple: fly very early in the morning. It might sound uncomfortable—having to wake up before sunrise, rushing to the airport while most people are still asleep—but according to Ally, it's worth it.

"I know this means you have to wake up earlier, but the effort is absolutely worth it," she added.

Why is that? Turns out, airlines are under immense pressure to ensure the first flight of the morning departs on time.

The reason is simple: one small delay in the morning can create a domino effect that disrupts the flight schedule for the entire day.

Additionally, flying early offers extra advantages. If the flight is delayed or canceled, you still have many alternative flight options for the same day.

In other words, you have room to breathe and don't need to panic.

Ally further explained that planes are reused multiple times in a single day. This means punctuality in the morning is crucial for the smooth operation of subsequent flight schedules.

This simple tip was enthusiastically welcomed by netizens. Many praised Ally's advice and admitted to having practiced it all along, especially for holiday departures.

Amusingly, some netizens joked that this trick shouldn't become too widely known, fearing early flights might become crowded and eventually experience delays too.

So, if you're planning your next trip, it might be time to set your alarm earlier.

Who knows—with a small sacrifice of sleep time, you might just enjoy your vacation more peacefully and, of course, without any delay drama.
