Persib Bandung has reaffirmed its dominance in Indonesian football. The Bandung Tiger claimed two awards at the Santini JMTV Awards 2025 through coach Bojan Hodak and young star Beckham Putra on Thursday evening, December 18, 2025, at JS Luwansa Hotel, South Jakarta.

Bojan Hodak was named Best Male Football Coach, surpassing other nominees such as Fabio Araujo (Borneo FC), Jan Olde Riekerink (Dewa United), Mauricio Souza (Persija Jakarta), and Nova Arianto (Indonesia U-20 National Team).

This award recognizes Bojan's consistency and tactical acumen, which have elevated Persib to the highest level over the last two seasons.

In the Favorite Football Athlete category, Beckham Putra emerged as the winner, beating out Jay Idzes (Sassuolo), Emil Audero (Cremonese), Rizky Ridho (Persija Jakarta), Asnawi Mangkualam (Port FC), and Pratama Arhan (Bangkok United).

Beckham's popularity aligns with his consistently rising performances for Persib and his contributions on the national stage.

The victories of Bojan and Beckham underscore their central roles in Persib's golden era. Over the past two years, this coach-player collaboration has led the Bandung-based club to dominate the Indonesian League as champions.

This season, Persib remains competitive at the top of the league table and has also achieved success at the Asian level, qualifying for the AFC Champions League II round of 16 as Group G winners.

Outside football, the best coach and athlete awards were also given to futsal and badminton. Chafidz Yusuf (badminton) and Hector Souto (futsal) were named winners. Meanwhile, Jonatan Christie was named Best Non-Football Athlete.

The Santini JMTV Awards 2025 featured a total of 21 categories, with a significant update being the separation of football and non-football categories for male coaches and male athletes. This policy was implemented to ensure balance in the voting process.

"Congratulations to the winners of the 21 categories at the Santini JMTV Awards 2025. Moving forward, we hope high-achieving sports figures can receive greater recognition from policymakers," said JMTV CEO Valentino Simanjuntak.

In addition to the awards ceremony, the Santini JMTV Awards 2025 also included a social agenda through donations for victims of the flash floods in Sumatra.
