Jakarta is once again becoming a new magnet for lifestyle-themed festivals. In late 2025, the Batavia PIK area will host an international-scale event, B.Duck 20th Playful Carnival, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the global character B.Duck, which for two decades has been known as an icon of cheerfulness, colorfulness, and creativity.
The festival will run from November 28, 2025, to January 31, 2026, making it one of the longest agendas for year-end and new year holidays that families, couples, and young people seeking a new atmosphere can enjoy.
In his statement, Project Manager Julian Tampi emphasized that this moment is presented not only to celebrate the popular character but also to provide space for the public to take a break from routines and enjoy entertainment again.

"We want every visitor to return home with warm memories, enthusiasm, and positive energy," said Julian.
Why Must it be in Jakarta?
As a global character with a fanbase in various Asian countries, B.Duck chose Jakarta as its inaugural launch location in Indonesia. The reason is clear: PIK has developed into one of the most popular urban lifestyle destinations recently, with its waterfront concept, thematic restaurants, and photo spots that continuously go viral on social media.
For urban travelers who frequently seek new places for content or just refreshing, this festival is designed as a "meeting point" between family entertainment and visual-based creative spaces.
Play Zones, Photo Spots, and Rides, Designed for All Segments
This festival presents many zones to explore. From the experiences offered by the committee, B.Duck 20th Playful Carnival targets not only families but also young generations who enjoy urban adventures.
Some attractions to enjoy:
- A giant 8.5-meter-tall inflatable B.Duck, perfect for photo content.
- Thematic B.Duck visual installations that are Instagrammable.
- Meet & greet with the B.Duck character.
- Carnival-style games that are friendly for all ages.
- A riverboat ride offering views of the waterfront characteristic of Batavia PIK.
- Children's play area and entertainment stage.
- Creative activity locations that families and young people can participate in.
Given its scale and concept, this festival is projected to become one of the largest family-travel events from late 2025 to early 2026. Similar events in other countries, such as Hong Kong and Bangkok, have reportedly attracted thousands of visitors per day, and organizers are optimistic the Jakarta event will set a similar trend.
The event targets 2,000–3,000 visitors per day on weekdays and up to 5,000 people on weekends. With this estimate, it is advisable to arrive early on Saturdays and Sundays to enjoy more rides without long queues.
The inclusion of global events like this strengthens PIK's position as the best "urban travel" destination. Beyond the festival, visitors can continue their trip by enjoying the culinary area at Batavia PIK, visiting Cove at Batavia, or sunset-watching by the lake.
