The Indonesia U-17 squad is intensifying preparations ahead of their crucial match against Brazil U-17 in the continued Group H of the 2025 U-17 World Cup. The match, scheduled for Friday, November 7, 2025, at Aspire Zone, Al Rayyan, Qatar, represents a vital moment for the Young Garuda squad to bounce back after their loss to Zambia in the opening match.
The head coach of the Indonesian U-17 National Team, Nova Arianto, emphasized that his team is now fully focused on recovering the players' physical condition following the intense duel against Zambia on November 4.
"On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, we focused on recovery after the match against Zambia. Additionally, we have prepared several schemes ahead of the match against Brazil. Only after that will we enter the tactical session on November 6, 2025," Nova stated on the official PSSI website.

Nova understands Brazil is not an easy opponent. The South American team is renowned for its strong tradition in youth tournaments and is considered one of the title contenders in this edition. However, he stressed that Indonesia must not be intimidated by the opponent's big reputation.
"I can say Brazil is a candidate for champion in this World Cup. But I ask the players not to be afraid of that situation. I hope they have strong mental fortitude. At least we can match them, and who knows, we might win," he asserted.
Besides preparing tactics and mentality, Nova also confirmed his squad's condition is reasonably good. Only one player, Fabio Azkairawan, required treatment due to a collision, but has now shown positive progress.
"The players' condition is all quite good. Fabio experienced a collision, but he's better now. The hope is he can return and be ready to face Brazil," Nova added.
In the previous match, Indonesia showed promise by taking an early lead through Zahaby Gholy's goal in the first half, although they ultimately had to concede defeat to Zambia with a 1-3 scoreline.
The match against Brazil will be a mental and technical test for the Young Garuda. With an unyielding spirit and optimal recovery, the opportunity to snatch points remains open for the young Indonesian squad in this prestigious world tournament.
