BogorPersib Bandung's march to lock down this season's league title is looking increasingly unstoppable. Their dramatic 2-1 victory over PSM Makassar, combined with closest rivals Borneo FC recording a goalless draw, has smoothed the Blue Prince squad's path straight to the championship throne.

This situation has drawn sharp attention from national football analysts. Two veteran observers, Haris Pardede (Bung Harpa) and Ronny Pangemanan (Bung Ropan), both agree that league table dynamics across these critical final matchweeks are now heavily stacked in Maung Bandung's favour.

95 Percent Of The Title Is Already In Hand
According to Bung Harpa, while the title race has remained tense, results from the latest matchweek completely shifted the tide.

"If you ask me, Persib Bandung already have 95% of this championship wrapped up. Though you can bet the Bobotoh fanbase will tell you they are already 99% of the way to the title," stated Bung Harpa.

Persib's defining moment arrived via Julio Cesar's late injury time goal against PSM, finished off a perfectly calibrated assist from midfield maestro Tom Haye, nicknamed 'The Professor'. This goal was not just a match winner: it stood as concrete proof of the mental toughness embedded within Bojan Hodak's squad.

Bojan Hodak's Midas Touch And The Remontada Mentality
Echoing this assessment, Bung Ropan specifically highlighted the unshakeable never-surrender DNA that now defines Persib. He confirmed he had already tipped Persib for the title ever since the side pulled off dramatic remontada comeback wins against Bhayangkara FC and Persija Jakarta.

"Who forged that mentality at Persib? In my view that man is Bojan Hodak. This team has made comebacks second nature, they do not fold under pressure, and they carry a true champion's mindset even when falling behind early," Bung Ropan emphasised.

At the same time, credit is also due to their rivals Borneo FC. Bung Harpa noted that the Pesut Etam side built their squad using a Moneyball recruitment strategy, utilising analytics software to sign effective yet low-cost players. Unfortunately, Borneo FC's frustrating goalless draw against Persijap Jepara allowed Persib to pull well clear at the top of the Standings.

Preparing For Celebrations At GBLA
Right now, every mathematical calculation falls firmly in West Java's favour. Persib Bandung only require a minimum of 1 point when they host Persijap Jepara at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium for their final league fixture this coming Saturday.

The euphoria building ahead of this decisive match was the hot topic on the ITSMe podcast, recorded in Sentul, Bogor. Show hosts Raisha and Gilang Respaty even issued a playful warning for tourists planning a weekend trip to the Flower City: should Persib confirm the title, Bandung is guaranteed to erupt.

"Anyone heading to Bandung for holiday this Saturday better be ready. If Persib win the league, the streets will be packed full of Bobotoh fan convoys. You're much better off hiring a motorbike, or just staying inside your hotel," they concluded with a laugh.
