Leo/Daniel delivered an impressive performance and won in straight games with scores of 21-12, 25-23 during a tight contest that demonstrated the Indonesian pair's dominance right from the opening of the match.
The recently reunited pair immediately played aggressively, relying on fast front-court net play to apply constant pressure on their opponents.

Leo repeatedly created attacking openings with delicate controlled net shots, while Daniel performed effectively with powerful smashes executed from the back line.
Leo/Daniel's dominance was clearly visible in the first game. Rankireddy/Shetty struggled to build their playing rhythm and committed frequent unforced errors under the sharp, fast pressure from the Indonesian representatives.
Disciplined execution and high tempo play allowed Leo/Daniel to close the opening game with a convincing 21-12 victory.
Upon entering the second game, the match became far more tightly contested. The Indian pair began to find their rhythm and managed to reverse the early deficit after trailing at the start of the game.
Rankireddy/Shetty even held an 11-9 lead at the second game interval. This situation briefly caused Leo/Daniel to lose momentum, including a return miscommunication that resulted in the shuttlecock hitting Daniel Marthin in the face.
Despite briefly shaking, the Indonesian pair recovered and returned to their optimal playing pattern after the interval break.
A fierce duel unfolded in the final points, as both pairs traded points back and forth until the score was level at 23-23.
In this critical situation, Leo/Daniel remained calmer and maintained full focus. Daniel subsequently secured match point for the Indonesian pair, before an unforced return error from Rankireddy confirmed the 25-23 victory for the Red and White representatives.
This Thailand Open 2026 title marks Leo/Daniel's first trophy since winning the 2024 Indonesia Masters, while also signalling their full resurgence after being separated as a pair for two years.
This victory also carries special weight, as it is the first ever win for Leo/Daniel against Rankireddy/Shetty following four straight defeats in all prior meetings.
For Daniel Marthin, this result represents a major career milestone following his long competitive absence due to a left knee Injury.
Their success in Bangkok also further confirms Leo/Daniel's standing as one of Indonesia's emerging leading Men's Doubles contenders at the international world level.
