Beyond the public spotlight on the Indonesian National Team, there's a unique story about coaches who briefly occupied the hot seat. High pressure, public expectations, and disappointing results have often made the position of Indonesian national team coach resemble an "electric chair." Patrick Kluivert officially joins the list of the shortest-tenured coaches in Indonesian National Team history.
Failure to take Indonesia to the 2026 World Cup marked the end of Kluivert's journey. Defeats to Saudi Arabia and Iraq triggered the major decision by the federation.
Five days after the national team lost to Iraq, PSSI officially dismissed Kluivert. Is Kluivert the shortest-serving coach for the national team?
