Indonesia, Bali Shine at China Travel Awards

Indonesia's name resonates once again as one of the Best Destinations. At the 19th annual China Travel Awards, Indonesia received the “Top Destinations” award in the country category, a recognition affirming the archipelago's appeal in the Chinese market.

This award was presented by China's leading travel magazine "Travel+Leisure," which boasts an exclusive readership base among high net worth individuals (HNWI) or high-purchasing-power demographics. 

Another accolade was secured by Bali as the favorite Tourism region. The tropical island, with its culture and spirituality, maintains its position as a world-class tourism magnet.

"This award validates that Indonesia's Tourism Products can compete at the highest level. Last year, Bali was also selected as a top destination in the same awards," stated Berlianto Situngkir, Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Shanghai.

Indonesia stands alongside other global destinations like Australia, Maldives, South Africa, Thailand, and Turkey. 

"Indonesia's selection as one of the best proves that the standards of Indonesian Tourism are highly recognized by International Tourists," Berlianto added.

This award strongly reflects Indonesia's position in the Chinese tourism market, one of the world's largest tourist sources. 

Chosen through a combination of industry expert evaluations, travel journalists' input, and millions of tourist votes across China, this accolade serves as a benchmark for global destination quality.

More than just a trophy, this achievement reflects Indonesia's success in offering authentic travel experiences—a blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and increasingly sophisticated services. 

"By winning this 'China Travel Awards' recognition, Indonesia grows increasingly optimistic about attracting more foreign tourists seeking Premium and authentic travel experiences," concluded Berlianto.
