Indonesia secures a spot in the semifinals of the 2026 Uber Cup after defeating the Denmark Uber Team 3-1 at Forum Horsens, Friday WIB. This victory confirms the consistency of the Red and White team in pursuing the world's most prestigious women's team badminton title.
The key performance came from Women's Singles player Ester Nurumi Tri Wardoyo who crushed Amalie Schulz in two straight games 21-13, 21-18 during the Quarter Final match. This result sealed Indonesia's advancement to the final four.
In the first game, Ester handled Amalie's fast-paced play until the score was tied 6-6. Ester gradually controlled the tempo, scoring three consecutive points to lead 11-7.

Steadily, Ester continued adding point after point to extend her lead. Towards the end of the first game, she locked in four consecutive points to close it 21-13.
The second game saw much faster intensity. Ester trailed but managed to equalize at 8-8.
Mid-set, Ester countered Amalie's rapid tempo play. Her composure secured three straight points to reverse the score to 17-16. In the closing stages, Ester displayed solid play to clinch the game 21-18.
Ester's victory complemented earlier positive results. Captain Putri Kusuma Wardani defeated Line Christophersen in two straight games. Meanwhile, Ni Kadek Dhinda Amartya Pratiwi conceded to Line Hojmark Kjaersfeldt.
In doubles, the pair Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari overcame Amalie Cecilie Kudsk/Mette Werge.
In the semifinals, Indonesia faces a tough challenge from the South Korean Uber Team led by An Se-young. South Korea advanced after defeating Taiwan, promising a fierce duel for a finals berth.
With improving performances, Indonesia is now on track for title contention. However, consistency and championship mentality will be tested again when facing one of World Badminton's strongest powers in the semifinals.
