The top-tier competition of the BRI Super League is heating up again entering week 26. The title chase involving Persib Bandung, Borneo FC, and Persija Jakarta is intensifying with mounting pressure in every match.

League leaders Persib cannot breathe easy yet. Coach Bojan Hodak emphasized their away match against Semen Padang at Haji Agus Salim Stadium on Sunday, April 5th will be a serious test despite the Standings gap.

"Facing Semen Padang will be tough because they're playing at home and currently in the relegation zone. I believe they'll perform at 200 percent," stated Hodak on Persib's official site.

The situation grows more complex as Semen Padang gains fresh energy under New Coach Imran Nahumarury, who debuted with a victory.

"This will certainly be a difficult match. But I hope we'll find a way to get a positive result there," he said.

Borneo Cautious of Madura United

Meanwhile, second-placed Borneo FC trails by just four points. Coach Fabio Lefundes warned his squad to stay alert against Madura United.

"Yes, they haven't won and decided to change coaches. They've no alternative but to fight hard for three points," said the Brazilian tactician on I.League's official platform.

Lefundes noted Madura's relegation-threatened position makes them more dangerous as they play pressure-free with full determination.

"We must realize they'll fight desperately to escape their current situation," he added.

As Persib's closest challenger, Borneo cannot afford slip-ups to keep title hopes alive.

Persija Tested by Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung

Persija Jakarta faces distinct pressure visiting Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung's base. The Tigers arrive with unconvincing form after failing to win their last two matches.

This situation heightens pressure on the Kemayoran Tigers, now trailing Persib by six points.

Hosts Bhayangkara confirmed two key players—Ryo Matsumura and Allan Cardoso—will miss the match due to contract clauses.

"Ryo and Allan can't play because of contractual agreements. I'm fine with this," stated Bhayangkara FC COO Sumardji.

Losing these pillars clearly impacts Bhayangkara, especially given Ryo's impressive performances. Still, Paul Munster's squad maintains remarkable form with five consecutive wins.
