Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) in Jakarta will once again welcome a big name. This time, Patrick Kluivert will visit the stadium. Not as a coach, but as part of World Football nostalgia.

The former Indonesian National Team coach is confirmed to attend when Barcelona Legends face Real Madrid Legends at SUGBK on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Quoted from the Instagram account @clashoflegends.id, Barcelona Legends features 19 players. One of them is Patrick Kluivert, who previously defended Blaugrana from 1998-2004.

Kluivert's arrival adds a deeper narrative layer for Indonesian Football enthusiasts. He is not just a Barcelona legend, but also a figure who once occupied the Garuda dressing room.

Kluivert became Indonesia's National Team Coach replacing Shin Tae-yong. During his tenure from January to October 2025, he led Garuda in eight matches. The Dutch coach recorded three wins, one draw, and four defeats.

These results weren't enough to qualify Indonesia for the 2026 World Cup finals. Indonesia's journey under Kluivert ended in the fourth round of 2026 World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

Now, Kluivert returns to the GBK stage in a different context. No result pressure, no qualification targets.

Only the game, memories, and a reunion between players and fans who witnessed his career journey as one of Barcelona's legends.

Besides Kluivert, 18 other names are on Barcelona Legends' roster for Jakarta, including Rivaldo, Carles Puyol, Javier Saviola, and Ricardo Quaresma.
