Liverpool striker Liverpool Mohamed Salah has announced he will end his journey with The Reds at the end of this season or in June 2026. Nine years at Anfield have shaped Salah's speed, sharpness, and consistency on the right side of the attack.
Quoted from the club's official website on Wednesday, Salah has reached an agreement with Liverpool not to extend his contract.
Salah revealed his reason for announcing this to the supporters as soon as possible.

According to him, this is a form of respect and gratitude towards them.
Salah said he remains highly focused on achieving the best results with Liverpool at the end of this season.
He also announced his decision via a post on his personal Instagram account @mosalah.
"I want to start by saying I never imagined this club, this city, its people would become part of my life," stated Salah.
"Liverpool is not just a Football club, but also passion, history, spirit. I can't explain it to anyone who isn't part of this club," he continued.
Salah's statement seemed to affirm that he didn't just arrive as a player from AS Roma in 2017, but grew into a symbol of the club's new golden era.
The Egyptian player said that with Liverpool he has won several major trophies.
He thanked especially his past and present teammates and Liverpool supporters for his achievements with The Reds.
"Goodbyes are never easy. You have given me the best time of my life. I will always be a part of you!"
"This club will always be home to me and my family. Thank you for everything. Because of all of you, I'll never walk alone."
Salah has played 435 matches and scored 255 goals for Liverpool.
However, Salah's legacy doesn't stop there.
He helped Liverpool win trophies again from the Premier League to the Champions League, restoring the club's aura as a global force.
