Real Madrid secured a convincing victory by defeating Elche 4-1 in the Spanish La Liga match at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, March 15, 2026, early morning WIB. This result keeps Los Blancos Putting pressure on Barcelona in the race at the top of the Standings.

The additional three points mean Real Madrid is now just one point behind Barcelona, who still lead the provisional standings. Meanwhile, Barcelona is scheduled to play their match this week against Sevilla on Sunday night WIB.

On the other hand, Elche sinks further at the bottom of the standings. They are now in 17th position with 26 points, just one point above the relegation zone, according to the LaLiga website.

Madrid Dominant From the Start

Playing in front of their home supporters, Real Madrid immediately appeared aggressive from the start of the match. The home squad launched wave after wave of pressure.

Madrid's first chance came through a long-range shot by Aurelien Tchouameni, although the ball was still off target.

Towards the end of the match, Elche managed to reduce the deficit after Manuel Angel scored an own goal while trying to clear the ball in front of his own net.

However, Real Madrid added another goal. Arda Guler scored a spectacular goal after capitalizing on a mistake by goalkeeper Matias Dituro to secure a 4-1 victory for Los Blancos.
