Persib Bandung dominated as they hosted Persik Kediri in the 25th week of the BRI Super League 2025/2026. Playing at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA) on Monday evening, March 9, 2026, Maung Bandung secured a decisive 3-0 victory.
Full support from their home fans made Persib play aggressively from the start. Foreign striker Andrew Jung became the hero with two goals, while Indonesian National Team midfielder Thom Haye contributed one goal from the penalty spot.
Persib took the lead in the 22nd minute. Berguinho's penetration into the penalty box was illegally stopped by Muhamad Firly. The referee immediately pointed to the penalty spot. Thom Haye calmly converted the penalty to put Persib ahead 1-0.

Just before halftime, Persib earned another penalty in the 39th minute. Adrian Luna's foul on Frans Putros led the referee to review VAR before awarding the penalty. Andrew Jung stepped up as executioner and doubled Persib's lead to 2-0.
Entering the second half, Persib maintained control. In the 53rd minute, Andrew Jung scored again. The goal originated from Berguinho's movement on the flank that opened up space. Frans Putros delivered an accurate cross, which Jung met with a precise header.
This goal sealed Persib's 3-0 victory over Persik Kediri.
This result solidifies Persib Bandung's position at the top of the BRI Super League 2025/2026 standings. Maung Bandung has now maintained distance from closest rivals like Borneo FC and Persija Jakarta.
