Persib Bandung coach Bojan Hodak believes the race for the BRI Super League 2025/2026 title will remain tight until the end of the season. He stated that teams in this competition are evenly matched, making every match full of surprises.
Persib Bandung currently leads the provisional Standings with 54 points. This position was maintained despite their last match ending in a 2-2 draw against Persebaya Surabaya.
At the top, Persib holds just a one-point advantage over second-place Borneo FC. Meanwhile, Persija Jakarta trails in third place, three points behind the Bandung-based team.

"Every team in this league can beat each other. That's why the league is so exciting and challenging. These results only prove that the league is both thrilling and tough," said Bojan, quoted from the official I.League website on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
Persib will next face Persik Kediri in Matchweek 25. The match is scheduled for Monday (9/3) at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA) with kick-off at 20:30 WIB.
Ahead of this match, Persib approaches with high confidence. Throughout the season, Beckham Putra and teammates have shown solid performances at home.
From 12 home matches played, Persib has won every single game. While scoring 22 goals, Maung Bandung's defense has remained sturdy, conceding only once – a goal scored by Borneo FC.
"The players look happy. We've achieved good results throughout the season and we're currently number one. Everyone wants to play. This actually becomes my problem because I'm confused about selecting the starting eleven," Bojan commented.
Additionally, Bojan shared positive news about player conditions. Center-back Julio Cesar has resumed training after recovering from injury. Meanwhile, Layvin Kurzawa has also returned to normal training after missing the previous match.
"The good news is everyone has recovered well. You can see Julio has started joining training, Marc is fully participating, Kurzawa is training normally," concluded the coach who led Persib to back-to-back Indonesian Liga 1 titles.
